Penis
enlargement (PE) is predominantly a physical exercise, no real
arguments there. Practitioners of PE are trying to improve the
penis, a physical part of the body. To do this requires physical
efforts - the constriction of muscles, pulling of ligaments and
the expansion of blood chambers. The results of these acts are
also physical. If unlucky, you can pull ligaments, burst blood
vessels, bruise tissue, damage nerves, (and sometimes get a real
sore hand), but if all goes well you can gain length and girth
of your penis. Therefore care must be taken in these physical
actions and those involved in PE must practice these actions to
perfection and learn to "read" their bodies so that
they actually achieve the results they want while at the same
time avoid injuries. Time must also be given to proper recovery,
and what is put into the body (food, drink, supplements, etc)
is an important consideration. So understanding PE as a physical
action is obviously essential, but is this all there is to PE?
No, I don't believe it is. There is also the mind.
The
relationship between the body and the mind is a very elusive
subject that may never fully be understood, but there is no
doubt that they both affect each other in huge ways. Therefore,
it is again without any doubt, when I say that the mind has
a huge part to play in PE.
The
first aspect, and one very well known to sport psychology, is
the creation of goals. This sounds obvious, but it is one of
the easiest solutions to the most common problem encountered
in physical training. One can have all the talent and potential
for growth that is possible, but this adds up to naught if they
give up half way through frustration or the loss of confidence
in themselves. The best means against this is to create goals
that are, most importantly, realistic or obtainable. It is no
use setting goals not even Superman could reach. In PE, the
beginner may decide to begin with a half hour workout every
other day for 2 months and see if there are any results after
that. A more experienced PE'er may decide to slow down or heat
things up, set a time to experiment on this, or a length they
wish to acquire and work towards it. By setting goals, the progress
of the PE'er is also measured, which stops them becoming lost
in their efforts. The PE'er also gains a sense of pride in achieving
their goals, strengthening their confidence and further spurning
them on.
The
second aspect of the mind-body relationship that I believe is
especially relevant to PE is also especially relevant in bodybuilding,
namely, focus and visualization.
When
PE'ing one must be fully focused on what they are doing, and
most of all, why they are doing it. This doesn't mean standing
there repeating, "I want a bigger dick...I want a bigger
dick
" like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz (well, actually,
she just wanted to go home), but as all serious bodybuilders
know, it is concentrating on every aspect of the exercise with
the serious intention to achieve what you have set out to achieve
that separates those that gain serious results from those that
flounder. Actual scientific proof that this improves growth
is hard to come by, and may not exist at all (for example, how
hard is it to measure "focus"), but as it is held
as gospel by all the of the greatest bodybuilders in the last
30 years and if its good enough for them, well, you know
So
in conclusion, creating a positive, active mental state towards
PE is just as important towards one's progress as is perfecting
the different exercises PE involves. Used together they are
much more powerful than either is in isolation. So set those
goals and focus in your workouts, truly understanding why you
are doing this and what you want to achieve, and I hope its
only a matter of time till you reach it.
Keep
up the hard work.
